Music fascinated Mike from an early age. He got a start after seeing a bluegrass band at a county fair and begging his parents for a banjo. While the banjo never completely captured his attention, he would switch to guitar later in life, and that blossomed into a love affair with music. Mike gigged for years in the blues, jazz, funk scene in Madison Wisconsin, putting out an album with Seven Day Weekend (https://open.spotify.com/track/2JfEGqCKKuFl2IkXs3T9ho), and getting to play with great musicians like Clyde Stubblefield, Jon French, and Barb Cheron. He picked up bass to play in the pit for Jesus Christ Superstar.

Since coming to the Fox Valley, Mike has focused on performing as a solo guitarist, song writing, and producing music and videos for YouTube. He also is a regular house member at the Nash Vegas Jam in Oswego. Catch one of his sets at coffee shop or other venue near you.
